Site Description
The station here closed in 1963. There was only a Down platform, on which is the station building. There was a loop on the Up side. The former goods area is on the Down side. It contained a store, loading bank and a siding, of which, no trace remains. The base of the signal cabin is on the Up side at the Claremorris end of the station. This was a block post until 1982. An unusual, cylindrical water tower exists on the Limerick side of the station. There is an unattended level crossing at the Claremorris end of the station. The cut stone building on the Up side beyond this is a mill.Photographs
